Workshop Organizational Constelations w/ Cecilio Regojo

Yesterday, i had the pleasure to meet Cecilio Regojo for a workshop about Organizational Constelations at Porto – Portugal.

In a joint project between Mindcoach and Talent Manager, Cecílio Regojo showed a small part of this amazing tool.

With more than 35 years of business experience, Cecilio has held several positions of responsibility in companies of multiple sectors and areas of activity. His experience as a businessman, together with his experience as a business consultant dealing with a number of companies in many countries, has provided him with a broad understanding of organizations and companies.

Cecilio organizes workshops and trainings in several parts of the world. He has participated in a number of International Congresses as an invited lecturer. He also carries out management consultancy in the field of Systemic Consulting, working in companies and organizations.

This experience was quite inspirational!!!

Organised by Sail Training International

The Regatta will comprise the traditional mix of races and cruises-in-company for a Tall Ships event organised by Sail Training International. It will begin in May and conclude in early June 2010, in time for those taking part to make passage to northern Europe for the annual summer series Tall Ships’ Races (organised by Sail Training International).

First group of JCI Trainers in Portugal

Last weekend, me and 10 other people became the first ever group of new JCI trainers in Portugal. The JCI Trainer course was FANTASTIC!

JCI trainerThe amazing group of Portuguese JCI Trainers. Over 2 intensive days, we have outlined the major issues of any training program. Walter Labres, Ronald Govaaerts and Filipe Carrera combined forces to deliver the program and motivated everyone with an enthusiastic approach. 

jci trainer2At the end, the certification was done and almost getting ready launch the first step toward the Certified Local Trainer status (CLT).

JCI Presenter – Porto, Portugal

On the 17th of May, i will be attending the JCI Presenter course in Porto, Portugal. 

Filipe Carrera (Head Trainer – JCI Portugal) will deliver this course. This is an excellent oportunity to learn more from presentation skills by a quality trainer.

The JCI Effective Presentation Course is a full day course that focuses on the concepts of creating and delivering an effective presentation utilizing visual aids and strong delivery methods with a mind towards understanding the audience. Participants practice presentations during the entire course.

JCI Presenter should be taken by all members who want to expand their presentation skills in order to make better project reports and intervene during chapter meetings.

Length: Full day Participants: Minimum 6 and maximum 20

Contents  

Module 1 – Opening: Welcome and Introduction Session. Participants are welcomed to the course and will speak for the first time during this session to introduce themselves.

Module 2 – Presentation Types: Participants will now tell the audience about their most memorable experience. Participants will learn the many types of presentations they may have to make in the future and the characteristics of each one with emphasis on Project Reports.

Module 3 – Audience Analysis: Very short module about the need to know who they will speak to, what they know, what they should be told and what pre conceptions of prejudices the audience has.

Module 4 – Presentation Content: This Module will teach how to prepare the presentation content in an orderly format that will keep the audience’s attention to your message. Participants will receive the task to work on a presentation for the afternoon.

Module 5 – Effective Delivery: This Module will show the different techniques for an effective presentation delivery.

Module 6 – Presentations: Each participant will deliver the prepared presentation to the audience. Head trainer will make remarks on improvements and evaluations will be done based on the course content and how the participant applied it to the presentation.

Module 7 – Closing: Review of course and presentation of certificates. An open forum and course feedback will take place. Closing will explain next steps in JCI Training.

Serena Williams moves up on Top 10 Sports Twitterers

This final week of April, the top 10 of Sport Twitterers has a breath ofr fresh air – Serena williams has hit the board. Last week, i previewed this rising star to come up the rankings. Serena added 34,000 followers in a single week. Only the top 4 have more added followers per week. The reason for this has to do with a more tweeting activity by Serena that has call fo the attention of the twitter nation.

BNI New Chapter in Portugal – BNI LETHES

Today, i have co-organized the launch of a new BNI chapter in POrtugal, South Europe – BNI LETHES.

The event was gathered in Viana do Castelo – Portugal for a massive group of entrepreneurs, CEOs and managers of the District. The pure art of business networking was here for the very first time. Can you imagine moving more than 100 guests from a small city in Portugal at 6:45 a.m.?
